The Religious (White) Right

The John Birch Society developed after John Birch, “a devoted Christian missionary who heroically served in World War II and was killed by Chinese Communists 10 days after the end of the war, when he was only 27. Communists that were supposedly WWII allies with the U.S. Nearly ten years after Birch’s death, JBS Founder Robert Welch discovered that the death of Captain John Birch had been covered up after reading Knowland’s speech.  Welch wrote and had published “The Life of John Birch” in 1954. John Birch was a simple, but highly intelligent man, who worked hard to serve God, spread God’s word, and fought for the freedom to do so.  During his service in the war, he longed for the day when he could once again work the land, raise a family and dutifully serve God, as seen in the prose he wrote four months before his death called ‘The War Weary Farmer.'” JBS.org archive Although clearly religious, their non-exclusivity to Christianity and ethnic minorities isolated them over time. Read More about Welch and the birth of the conspiracy theorists on the Council For National Policy page. Fred Koch was a founding member with Adoph Coors, Sr.

Wesley A. Swift (1913-1970) started the Christian Identity movement and established the Church of Jesus Christ Christian and the Antelope Valley, CA, KKK. From the current King Identity Ministries website stating its beliefs: “WE BELIEVE the White, Anglo-Saxon, Germanic and kindred people to be God’s true, literal Children of Israel. Only this race fulfills every detail of Biblical Prophecy and World History concerning Israel and continues in these latter days to be heirs and possessors of the Covenants, Prophecies, Promises and Blessings YHVH God made to Israel. This chosen seedline making up the “Christian Nations” (Gen. 35:11; Isa. 62:2; Acts 11:26) of the earth stands far superior to all other peoples in their call as God’s servant race (Isa. 41:8, 44:21; Luke 1:54). Only these descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel scattered abroad (James 1:1; Deut. 4:27; Jer. 31:10; John 11:52) have carried God’s Word, the Bible, throughout the world (Gen. 28:14; Isa. 43:10-12, 59:21), have used His Laws in the establishment of their civil governments and are the “Christians” opposed by the Satanic Anti-Christ forces of this world who do not recognize the true and living God (John 5:23, 8:19, 16:2-3).

WE BELIEVE in an existing being known as the Devil or Satan and called the Serpent (Gen. 3:1; Rev. 12:9), who has a literal “seed” or posterity in the earth (Gen. 3:15) commonly called Jews today (Rev. 2:9; 3:9; Isa. 65:15). These children of Satan (John 8:44-47; Matt. 13:38; John 8:23) through Cain (I John 2:22, 4:3) who have throughout history always been a curse to true Israel, the Children of God, because of a natural enmity between the two races (Gen. 3:15), because they do the works of their father the Devil (John 8:38-44), and because they please not God, and are contrary to all men (I Thes. 2:14-15), though they often pose as ministers of righteousness (II Cor. 11:13-15). The ultimate end of this evil race whose hands bear the blood of our Savior (Matt. 27:25) and all the righteous slain upon the earth (Matt. 23:35), is Divine judgment (Matt. 13:38-42, 15:13; Zech. 14:21).

WE BELIEVE that the Man Adam (a Hebrew word meaning: ruddy, to show Blood, flush, turn rosy) is father of the White Race only. As a son of God (Luke 3:38), made in His likeness (Gen. 5:1), Adam and his descendants, who are also the children of God (Psalm 82:6; Hos. 1:10; Rom. 8:16; Gal. 4:6; I John 3:1-2), can know YHVH God as their creator. Adamic man is made trichotomous, that is, not only of body and soul, but having an implanted spirit (Gen. 2:7; I Thes. 5:23; Heb. 4:12) giving him a higher form of consciousness and distinguishing him from all the other races of the earth (Deut. 7:6, 10:15; Amos 3:2).

WE BELIEVE that as a chosen race, elected by God (Deut. 7:6, 10:15; I Peter 2:9), we are not to be partakers of the wickedness of this world system (I John 2:15; James 4:4; John 17/9, 15, 16), but are called to come out and be a separated people (II Cor. 6:17; Rev. 18:4; Jer. 51:6; Exodus 33:16; Lev. 20:24). This includes segregation from all non-white races, who are prohibited in God’s natural divine order from ruling over Israel (Deut. 17:15, 28:13, 32:8; Joel 2:17; Isa. 13:14; Gen. 1:25-26; Rom. 9:21). Race-mixing is an abomination in the sight of Almighty God, a satanic attempt meant to destroy the chosen seedline, and is strictly forbidden by His commandments (Exo. 34:14-16; Num. 25:1-13; I Cor. 10:8/ Rev. 2:14; Deut. 7:3-4; Joshua 23:12-13; I Kings 11:1-3; Ezra 9:2, 10-12; 10:10-14; Neh. 10:28-30, 13;3, 27; Hosea 5;7; Mal. 2:11-12).”

FEDS MOVE TO BREAK VOTING-MACHINE MONOPOLY Wired KIM ZETTERMarch 8, 2010

“Even before the sale, ES&S, based in Omaha, Nebraska, was the nation’s largest voting-machine maker, with machines being used in 43 states. ES&S systems were utilized in counting approximately 50 percent of the votes in the last four major U.S. elections according to the company’s website. The company also created statewide voter registration systems used in California, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, and New Mexico.

Its acquisition of Premier, the second-largest voting machine maker with equipment used in 33 states, gave it a near monopoly on election gear and would have had the company providing 70 percent of voting equipment in the country. Premier was a division of Diebold, Inc, which is based in Canton, Oh. Although there’s no evidence that e-voting machines have ever been rigged, the political partisanship of voting company owners has only added to concerns about the systems. Howard Ahmanson Jr., a right-wing Christian fundamentalist millionaire based in California, bankrolled the founders of ES&S. Ahmanson, heir to the Home Savings of America fortune, no longer holds a stake in ES&S.”

Rev. Louis P. Sheldon: Traditional Values Coalition founder, Jack Abramoff brought the 1st Executive Director of the Christian Coalition of America (leftover Pat Robertson presidential campaign funds were used to start the US Voter Outreach arm of the existing Christian Coalition)Ralph Reed, to join Sheldon in defeating an anti-gambling bill; TVC allegedly took $2m from eLottery. In 1981 he worked as an intern for Abramoff, the newly elected chairman of the College Republicans National Committee. Abramoff promoted Reed in 1983, appointing him to succeed Grover Norquist as executive director of the organization. Reed left the Christian Coalition in 1997 and started a political consulting firm in Georgia. Unraveling Abramoff Washington Post

The Unlikely Resurrection of Ralph Reed The disgraced evangelical pretty boy is up to his old tricks. The Observer By Kevin Baker • 09/25/12

[Abramoff] “got Mr. Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) $1.5 million to fight nefarious, big-government efforts to tax Indian slots. Mr. Norquist in turn funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars to Mr. Reed, who had e-mailed Mr. Abramoff, in his usual ecclesiastical language, “I need to start humping in corporate accounts …” and promised to mobilize “3,000 pastors and 90,000 religious conservative households” in Alabama alone to oppose new gambling ventures on religious principle. But now Mr. Reed is back, with his new Faith and Freedom Coalition, still working the same old grift. He has reportedly raised between $10 million and $12 million for the Romney campaign, and promises many millions more.”

Pat Robertson’s Christian Coalition of America, “In 1988, following a well-funded but failed bid for the U.S. presidency, Pat Robertson, a religious broadcaster and political commentator, used the remainder of his campaign resources to jump-start the formation of a voter-mobilizationeffort dubbed the Christian CoalitionAmericans for Robertson accumulated a mailing list of several million conservative Christians interested in politics. This mailing provided the basis of the new organization. Ralph Reed, an Emory University Ph.D. candidate, whom Robertson had met when the younger man was working as a waiter at an inaugural dinner for George H. W. Bush in January 1989, took control of day-to-day operations of the coalition in 1989 as its founding executive director. He remained in the post until August 1997 when he left to enter partisan political consulting, founding his new firm Century Strategies, based near Atlanta, Georgia.[9]  Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Coalition_of_America

Ralph Reed ran it in the 1980s through 1997, when he left it “nearly bankrupt”:  The Deceptions of Ralph Reed The AtlanticALEX GIBNEY  September 26, 2010

Abramoff laundered the Indian casino payoffs to Reed by routing them through other organizations, including Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform and a phony “think tank” in Rehoboth Beach, MD, run by a life guard and a yoga instructor who were friends of Abramoff’s pal, Mike Scanlon. Details of this can be found in my film, Casino Jack and the United States of Money. Reed still denies that he knew that the millions of dollars paid from him came from casino profits. There are publicly available e-mails that prove that is not so.Reed correctly notes that he has never been charged with a crime and implies that he had been fully investigated by John McCain’s Senate Committee on Indian Affairs. But the implication is deceptive. According to one very famous, disgraced former lobbyist, Reed was supposed to have been called before McCain’s committee but Karl Rove intervened and pressured McCain not to call Reed. (Reed was an enormously powerful fund-raiser for the Republican Party.)

If true (McCain and Democratic Committee head Byron Dorgan refused to respond to my inquiries) it would be amazing. After all, McCain hated Reed for Reed’s scurrilous personal attack campaign (funded by Abramoff) on McCain during the 2000 South Carolina Primary. And no one was more fundamental to Abramoff’s Indian casino business than Reed. Yet Reed was never called. Why? The Deceptions of Ralph Reed The Atlantic

Abramoff brought $11m into the law firms of Preston, Gates, Ellis & Rouvelas Meeds and, from 1995 to 2001-2004, Greenberg Traurig, from the Marianas government, which hosted House Maj. Leader Tom DeLay and many House members, to maintain SEX-SLAVE-LIKE conditions for Garment Workers, which led to fights over the Made in the USA label (on Saipan goods), and eventually the label was dropped:

Paradise Lost Greed, Sex Slavery, Forced Abortions and Right-Wing Moralists Ms. Magazine by Rebecca Clarren Spring 2006  “Abramoff made $11m in lobbying fees between 1995 and 2004 to get Congress’s support for continuing slave-like garment manufacturing in Saipan, US Commonwealth of Marianas, in face of January 2005 expiration of the GATT treaty. The Republican party rallied behind “Tom DeLay, who, as majority whip at the time, could keep a bill off the House floor even if the Resources Committee voted in its favor.”
